As a means of supporting himself in prison, my friend, Ramiro Gonzales often creates pieces of artwork for the other inmates.  The money he brings in from this work goes towards paying for food, toiletries, clothing and stationary.   He also creates artwork for his friends and penpals from around the world.

Ramiro has asked me to start posting some of these pieces of art online.  It is his hope that by looking at some of the art he creates, others might be moved to see he is a human being with a soul, and not simply a faceless, heartless monster.
